His tweet mentions about a user going by the alias Devesh Logendran discovering a hidden feature which is not yet live in Twitter app. The feature is experimental for Twitter’s Android App which will make it easier for users to tweetstorm.
In its bid to favor users who are used to sending stories especially the tech luminaries and political activists who have a large number of followers. They would like this feature as it will allow them to send text in a continuous manner. Earlier people would have to post tweets one at a time and reply them in sequence or you had to compose everything behind the scenes and share it all at once. Twitter hopes the new feature will help in wooing the large portion of its influential followers from going over to Facebook along with a large number of their followers and drive a lot of activity.
Twitter is known for it defining feature where it limits users from not sharing more than 140 characters at a time. Whereas tweetstorm will allow users to elaborate on their thoughts where it would be easier for others to follow.
A few years ago Twitter had been discussing to increase the character limit to 10000 characters but the idea was ultimately dropped.
Twitter has denied on record when asked about the recent developments by TechCrunch. The feature is not yet released for public tests.
