After its success with its popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone, Xiaomi has launched a new variant Redmi Note 4 Lake Blue Edition Launched In India. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs 12,999/- and will be available online on Mi.com from today afternoon at 12 pm. The smartphone can also be bought on Flipkart.com and offline partner stores. The new variant is offered with same specs as before except this time is offering a new Lake Blue color. The new variants will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage capacity.
The company will be supporting the mission to clean Kempambudhi Kere Lake in Bengaluru under its partnership with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Mission under ‘Wake the Lake’ project. Under this initiative, Xiaomi will be contributing part of proceeds from the sale of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4units to support initiatives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Redmi Note 4 smartphone supports the recently released Android 7.0 Nougat which comes with MIUI OS version MIUI 220.127.116.11 in India. The new features enable the phone with new features which include split screen multitasking, customizable quick settings, improved Google keyboard, enhanced notifications, and recent applications window. The new Android OS also brings the new ‘Double Tap’ on Recent button feature to switch between two recent apps. A new battery saving feature which extends the battery life is also included called ‘Doze on the go’. This feature gets activated even if your Nougat running device is in your pocket. The other amazing features included are home screen settings option, antivirus scan feature, new ringtones.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with some good specification which includes a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The handset measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.
The dual SIM smartphone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat operating and has a 4100 mAh battery. The phone comes with a neatly integrated fingerprint scanner at the back.
As we already mentioned the phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory which can be expanded externally via a microSD card. It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 4 offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C.
