HMD Global is excited ahead of Nokia 8 launch in India on September 26 and the company has started sending out the media invites for the event. The company has not yet disclosed this launch date officially but will be launched on September 26 in New Delhi in India. Sources confirmed that the Nokia 8 will be priced at Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000 in the country.
The Nokia 8 will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 256GB. The phone will run on pure stock Android 7 Nougat OS. The company has assured its consumers about timely delivery of the latest updates to its users without any delay.
The latest Nokia smartphone will come with a 5.3-inch IPS QHD display, resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 in a 2.5 D finish for aesthetics. The phones aluminum body will come in four variants. Two variants will be glossy and the others will be Matte in Polished Copper, Polished Blue, Tempered blue and Steel respectively.
The Phone will sport dual lens rear camera, 13-megapixels (Colour + OIS), 13-megapixels (Mono) sensors with dual-tone Flash with an aperture of f/2.0, 76.9˚, PDAF and IR range finder. ZEISS powers the camera department. In the selfie camera is a 13-megapixels PDAF, 1.12um, f/2.0 at the front.
The Nokia 8 is IP 54 splashproof and will come with standard 3.5mm ADJ headphone jack (3-mics) and USB 3.1 Type-C. It will be powered by a 3,090 mAh battery and have a hybrid dual-SIM card slot.
