Looks like the traditional fireworks might soon be replaced by dazzling drones in the sky. Certainly look like the future with Intel recent antics with its spectacular light show over LA to celebrate the launch of Wonder Woman on Blu-ray.
It seems inevitable that the automation and drones industry might totally the change how night sky illumination industry works. Apart from this, the drone light displays are way impressive than the exploding chemicals. The light show act produced by Intel’s Shooting Star drone can have billions of colors, be in perfect sync with the music and create incredible patterns.
There were 300 Intel Shooting Star drones used during the LA event to create Wonder Woman emblem in the sky along with other imagery from the popular movie. It was all woman power as the drone show was managed by Natalie Cheung – who’s Intel’s GM for Intel’s Drone Group along with her all-woman crew.
The Intel Shooting Star Drones are compact, light and are designed in such a way that it does create problems if one fails mid-flight.The body is made is out of plastic and foam and the rotors are well protected.You need to worry about 300 cameras spying on you as they don’t have a camera attached. Intel commented on the drones saying the system is designed to be easy to use and the whole act was planned, coordinated and rehearsed on a PC prior to the live show. They will be to give an idea of what to expect from it for those who opt for the drone show.
