Now you will be able to control whether to allow or not photos from WhatsApp to be saved in your phone albums with this new WhatsApp feature. Currently, the feature is available in the Beta version but will be rolled out in the regular version soon.
We all have experience how it feels to receive dumb meme and embarrassing photos of you dancing while you were drunk at parties. It will best to just hide all those pictures, isn’t it? WhatsApp has introduced a new feature in its beta version which allows you to hide media from specific conversations and keep them from showing up in your phone’s gallery albums.
You will have to manually activate the feature for each conversation you wish to apply to, unfortunately, it is not possible for you to enable it to all your conversations at once.
You also need to make a note that this feature only works on the newly downloaded media and will not apply in the earlier photos and videos you have in your phone gallery.
