Google Pixel 3 XL shows up on video with the 6.7-inch display and 3430mAh battery
There have been several leaks earlier showing Google Pixel 3 XL in the last few months. Earlier leaks showed a clear white and black model. Yet again later this week there was a leak showing a hands-on video of a nearly finished production unit. Today we have got our hands on a video posted by a Ukranian blogger through AnTuTu showing the Pixel 3XL.
The video here shows the device up and running, the blogger after showing off the device uses the AnTuTu app to confirm some of the leaked specs that have been buzzing around for some time. The device seen in the video is a DVT 1.0 model (Device Validation Test), which means through the hardware will remain same it is still early to predict the actual specs at the time of release.
Details from the video suggest
The Google Pixel 3 Xl will have a 6.7-inch display 1440×2960 resolution. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Adreno 630, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. A 12. 2 MP rear camera and 3 front cameras, all listed as 8.1MP and a powerful 3,430 mAh battery. Active Edge confirmed and will run on Android 9.
The interesting factor of the Pixel 3 XL, is it comes with three front cameras. In the previously leaked photos, only two cameras were shown. We think the extra camera is for some kind of extra secure face unlocks the ability. We presume either it is an error on the part of AnTuTu or maybe it is something else. The fact remains though is AnTuTu is a user-created app and at times information is faked on this platform, so we never know how reliable this leak is.
We can see a glimpse of the 3:57 video and a wallpaper in the background of the Always on Display. This is seen in the Android 9 Pie source code and looks like the feature is confirmed. As the release dates arrive more info will be known, till then let’s wait to hear something about the smaller version of Google Pixel 3.
