There have been reports suggesting Google working on a Fuchsia operating system, which will follow Android. The latest news though suggest Huawei already tests Fuchsia, what does that mean?
Huawei Already Working On Fuchsia Operating System
You may be aware of Fuchsia, a possible successor to Android. Currently, the operating system is under development and you will need to wait before you can use it. Though there are reports which suggest Huawei is already working on it.
What is Fuchsia Operating System?
We are not yet clear what Google is going to do with Fuchsia, but it seems to be an ideal successor of Android. As you all know Android is based on Linux and there a number of vulnerabilities discovered within Linux. Whereas Fuchsia will be entirely developed by Google and is considered to be more safe and secure. Also Fuchsia will be lot faster than Android can ever be. The other great advantage the operating system is ideal for app developers. As apps developed in a language can run on both iOS and Fuchsia.
What is Huawei Doing With Fuchsia?
Android is based on Linux kernel which makes it communicate between hardware and software. Whereas in case of Fuchsia it runs on Zircon kernel. This makes things exciting when it comes to Huawei as Honor Play has the Zircon kernel running on it. Also, the Zircon kernel is present in many other Huawei smartphones.
From the looks of it seems likely Huawei is will be the first manufacturer to make a smartphone with Fuchsia. Certainly it Fuchsia seems to have the potential to be a huge game changer and Huawei is certainly geared to reap the rewards of being the early bird.
Ideally will still a few years before the Fuchsia operating system lands up on our smartphones. Hence it would not be ideal to wait for a Fuchsia smartphone when you are making a decision to buy a new smartphone.
