SanDisk brand now owned by Western Digital has chosen the CES 2019 platform to make some important announcements. During the event, SanDisk showcased a prototype of a 4 TB storage stick which will be the world’s largest internal. USB-C disk.

The Extreme Pro Portable SSD mentioned can reach 1 GB/s transfer speeds and is IP55 certified for greater durability. This disk will be launched in 2019 and will be available in 500 GB, 1TB and 2TB variants.
Along with this, the company has also announced a new version of external Passport Go SSD under the Western Digital brand name and will be available in variants of 500GB and 1TB, write speeds up to 400 MB/s and comes with a coupled USB -A cable and rubberized sides. The disk is also capable of withstanding drops.
