State-run telecom BSNL has introduced the most economical plans in India on Wednesday. This plan is priced @ Rs 491/- for landline broadband which offers 20GB data per day for a period of one month. You will be able to access the net at speeds up to 20Mbps. BSNL will also be offering unlimited voice calls to any network along with this plan.
BSNL tweeted about the plan where BSNL Board member N. K. Mehta said the Plan 491 is used for both individuals as well as small and medium entrepreneurs. You can avail the 491 plan from customer service centers, franchisees, and retailers.
In an effort to compete with the intense competition in the market BSNL has been revising both its broadband and mobile plans, thanks to the entry of 4G-only network operator Reliance Jio. The RIL-owned telco is also set to launch its Jio Fiber broadband services soon, this is going to create waves in the market.
Earlier in June, BSNL started offering two FTTH plans, called Fibro Combo ULD 777 and Fibro Combo ULD 1277. The first offers a data FUP of 500GB at a speed of up to 50Mbps, priced at Rs. 777. The other offers a data FUP of 750GB and speed of up to 100Mbps, priced at Rs. 1,277.
