Honor will be following the trend of the smartphone with a display hole camera and launch its first such smartphone in Paris on Jan. 22, 2019. Honor has already sent invitations to the event but it has not yet disclosed the name of the latest smartphone.
The phone will house a front camera in a floating island within the screen. This will be different from what we’ve known earlier to be in the bezel or notch like in previous smartphones. This will be some new approach before the under display solutions arrive. Though the display hole camera might turn out to be entirely pleasing design concept.
You can find the front camera sitting on the top left of the smartphone. The press invite for the launch event in Paris shows a night-time scene in Paris on the display of the smartphone.
The display home camera certainly seems to be the upcoming trend for next year. Manufacturer of smartphones like Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus are already working on this feature. Though Huawei will be the first to launch its smartphone with display camera hole in the coming two weeks the Honor Nova 4.
There is very little information available about the phone though the company revealed that it will have a Kirin 980 chipset — Huawei’s latest flagship SoC. The latest Honor smartphone to be launched will certainly be a premium device.
Though the event is named as a Global product launch, the smartphone will be meant specifically for the European markets. Ideally, the phone will ready for sale in India, China later down the line.
