On 15th August, Reliance will be launching its much-awaited Jio GigaFiber, Fibre To The Home services(FTTH) across India. There have been speculations over the price of the service, trak.in has leaked speculative plans of the optical fibre based service. The speculative plans are based on leaks and rumours after the announcement of Jio GigaFiber services at the AGM addressed by Mr Mukesh Ambani in July.
Reliance Jio GigaFiber Plans And Prices:
The details available from the leak suggest that Jio GigaFiber plans could begin from Rs 500. The speculative plans suggest the company might offer plans ranging from Rs 500, Rs 750, Rs 999, Rs 1,299 and Rs 1,500. The base Rs 500 plan could offer users 300GB of data over 30 days, with speeds of up to 50Mbps. Another Rs 750 plan will allow Jio GigaFiber users to enjoy 450 GB data with a validity of 30 days at speeds up to 50 Mbps. The Rs 999 plan, on the other hand, comes with 600GB data benefits over 30 days, with speeds of up to 100Mbps. Along with these plans, there is another Rs 1,299 plan from Jio GigaFiber being offered with 750GB of data at speeds of up to 100Mbps over 30 days. Whereas the Rs 1,500 plan could provide 1000GB data at speed of up to 150Mbps, also valid for 30 days.
All the above mentioned Jio GigaFiber plans will provide access to unlimited data at reduced speeds after the FUP is exhausted. You can register for the service on the Jio website, or via the MyJio app from August 15.
Jio GigaFiber will be rolled out all over India and is expected to expand in over 1100 cities. It is expected the JioFiber service will start in locations from where it receives the maximum registrations. Certainly seems to a bonanza for internet users as they will get to enjoy speeds up to1Gbps at a relatively cheaper price.
