First Vodafone WiFi Bus Shelter Introduced In Gurugram, at the HUDA City Centre launched by Vodafone India. The Vodafone WiFi Bus Shelter provides free WiFi access facility up to 20 minutes per day irrespective of which network the user belongs to. Anyone can access the free 20 minutes per day as long as he has Indian telecom operators connection. The main purpose of this offer is to create a seamless technologically advanced WiFi network that will promote the usage of internet data among smartphone users in the region.
Vodafone is committed to making entire Gurugram a smart city, enabling the locals to enjoy world class internet service on the go, said Mr. Alok Verma business head, Vodafone Delhi-NCR.
He further said – “ The Wi-Fi initiative is a step towards ‘Digital India’ and creating networked and connected societies that will help citizens get on the digital highways and stay connected for good. The Wi-Fi service at the Bus shelter can be availed by all mobile users irrespective of their network provider.”
The company has further plans to set up few more Vodafone WiFi Bus Shelter on its data strong network over the next few days. Presently Vodafone has around 115 WiFi Hot-spot network in prime locations of Delhi-NCR, which includes malls, hospitals, market places, colleges etc.
