BSNL has introduced its latest entry-level prepaid plan for its subscribers across the country. The plan is priced at Rs 27 and will offer voice calling features for prepaid customers.
TelecomTalk reported the about the latest plan said it offers 1GB 2G/3G data with a validity of 7 days. The plan will be valid before August 6 and in all circles in India. The users will also be able to send 300 SMS during the validity period, but the calling benefits are not applicable to Mumbai and Delhi users.
Similar Plans Offered by Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone
There are similar plans being offered by various telecoms like Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone. Reliance Jio is offering a Rs 52 plan which offers 1.05 GB of 4G data along with unlimited calling and 70 SMS for 7 days. Along with this subscribers also get a complimentary subscription to all Jio apps for the 7-day period.
Airtel has a plan introduces which is similar to BSNL and is priced at Rs 47 with 500MB of 3G/4G data, 150 minutes of local, STD and national roaming calls. Apart from this the users also get 50 local and STD SMS messages.
Vodafone is also not lagging behind and has introduced its own plan to competed with the others. The plan introduced by Vodafone offers 28 days validity at Rs 47. This plan offers users 125 minutes or 7500 seconds of local and STD voice calling benefits, along with 50 local and national SMS messages. Above this, the users also enjoy data benefits up to 500MB of 3G/ 4G data.
There is good news for BSNL users belonging to the Kerala circle as a new broadband plan has been introduced specifically for them. The plan provides up to 200 GB limited data at speeds of 20Mbps for Rs 995. The validity of the plan is 90 days as it is a promotional plan. Reports from TelecomTalk also suggest the plan includes free custom email ID with 1GB of storage.
