Though there is no official word about how it will work on a Tablet, yet all you will need is an internet connection to get started.

- Open Google Chrome or any other browser you have on your Tablet.
- Surf to https://web.whatsapp.com/
- Request for the desktop version of the website.
- Scan the QR code that appears on the screen with the WhatsApp on your smartphone under ‘WhatsApp Web’ in the side menu
Once you completed the authentication via the QR scan you can use WhatsApp Web on your tablet. If you wish to regularly use WhatsApp on your Tablet, then you can add the page to your “Favorites”. This will help you access WhatsApp faster on your Tablet, similarly, you can put the WhatsApp Web on your home screen via the same menu. This will make the website look similar to an app.
You will need to be connected on the internet on your smartphone you use your WhatsApp. Also, you need to be in close proximity of the tablet as it wont work if the device is out of range. Nothing is stored on the tablet, all your media and messages are stored on the device on which you have your WhatsApp account, the Tablet just controls the app.
