It looks like an ordinary wood panel but when you walk up to it and drag your fingers across the wooden plank you realize it more than just a mere wooden plank. When you move your fingers over, it springs to life and emits a glowing light. Mui is, in fact, a smart home controller which can be used to adjust light and thermostat, play a music playlist for you or simply display the weather. When not in use it turns back to a simple looking wooden plank. Mui has been successful on Kickstarter and might reach users by this fall. It is priced around $999.
Eargo Neo is hearing aids made from soft medical grade silicone which allows breathability inside the ear and allow a better in-ear fit. The hearing aids are virtually invisible when inserted in the ear. You can change the hearing profile of the device by a simple tap as you move in different environments. Eargo Neo comes with its own app which you can connect with someone to get a better feel of the device. The device is priced around $2550 which is almost half the cost of other hearing aids in the US market.
Elvie Pump is the world’s first silent wearable breast pump which easily fits in your bra. The Elvie breast pump has got the FDA clearance, are here at the CES ready for shipping. It is one of kind hands-free smart breast pump. The pump comes in various breast sizes and is an attractive and sensible device. The clear reservoir allows you to check how much milk you have pumped. Elvie Pump can be connected to the Elvie app which will give you statistic about your pumping activity. With the introduction of the smart Elvie Pump, it seems the analog pumps will soon be outdated similar to the dialer phones.
Sennheiser Amber Soundbar comes with a studio like sound quality and can match an expensive 5.1 surround system. The soundbar comes with a hassle-free bar which gives you a booming bass while watching movies and TV in a room. Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar comprises 13 drivers and a tuning system that uses an external microphone to precisely map out the walls and ceiling height of your room. It is the only soundbar which is compatible with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and MPEG-H standards and can play Bluetooth and Chromecast as well. Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar is priced at $2500 and will be available in May 2019.
HTC Vive Pro comes with a range of immersive VR headsets and the latest Vive Pro Eye takes virtual reality to an entirely different level. It comes with built-in eye tracking which allows you to select objects and option within the VR experience simply by looking at them ie your eyes perform as a controller. Games and app will pick up the movement of your eyes and render what you are looking at in the minutest details. The cost of HTC Vive Pro Eye will be around $14000 and will be available from March this year.
