On Monday LG announced worlds first rollable OLED TV, the screen retracts into a box when you are not using it. The latest rollable 65 inches OLED TV is built on a concept unveiled last year, will be available for sale this year according to the companies announcement at CES 2019.
According to the company “A rollable OLED TV is a true game-changer, liberating users from the limitations of the wall and freeing them to curate their own personal space which no longer needs to be reserved full time for TV viewing.”
The latest LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R comes with three different viewing options ie Full View, Line View, and Zero View. The different viewing options allow users to enjoy watching television in ways they probably would have never imagined before the development of OLED technology.
For instance, the Full View will be able to deliver a large screen viewing experience which will reveal the full extent of contrast depth and realism.
The latest LG AI TV will also be able to integrate with Amazon’s Alexa via voice command as it will also come with support for Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. Apple HomeKit support will allow users to control the LG TV using Home apps or with the help of Siri.
While watching the TV in Line View it rolls up partially which allows you to manage specific tasks which do not require a full TV screen.
The company said “In-Line View, users can choose from features such as Clock, Frame, Mood, Music, and Home Dashboard”
Whereas in the Zero View viewers can enjoy music and other audio content without the screen rolled out. The LG TV comes with 4.2 channel, 100W front-facing Dolby Atmos audio system.
