Another way to connect your Android device to your desktop is via a USB cable. Very basic way, connect your USB cable to your phone at one side and the other side connect with your Windows desktop. Then swipe the notification bar of your Android down, tap the message ‘USB for …’ and select ‘Transfer files (MTP)’.
‘File Transfer’ window opens on your computer and on the mobile device you will see an overview of ‘Devices and stations’ in Explorer. From here you can move, copy, paste and delete files just like with a normal USB pen drive.
